At the new campus in Rabat, work is underway to establish a scalable, connected training plant, with the gradual integration of technologies from the industry of the future.
The various technology platforms cover a wide range of industrial capabilities, including computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), CNC machining, plastic injection molding, materials characterization, 3D scanning and metrology, numerical simulation, as well as assembly and Lean Manufacturing.
This complementary approach enables students to gain a comprehensive and integrated understanding of a product’s life cycle, from the design phase through testing, validation, and mass production.
A Tool for Educational Learning
Beyond the development of technical skills, ELFs serve as a powerful educational tool by placing learning at the heart of hands-on activities and experimentation. They enable students to tackle real-world industrial situations, apply their analytical and problem-solving skills, and become familiar with the requirements and constraints of production processes. This immersion helps strengthen their understanding of modern industrial systems and fosters a comprehensive, integrated approach to engineering. This approach also fosters a better alignment between academic training and the realities of the socio-economic world, while preparing students for the transformations of the industry of the future. It fully integrates the challenges associated with the digitization of processes, digital simulation, continuous improvement, and the optimization of industrial performance and competitiveness.
