The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille invites you to an afternoon of awareness-raising about women's studies and careers in industry, followed by an awards ceremony for practical work carried out as part of the Cordées de la Réussite program.

The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille is organizing the first edition of its "Women in Industry" event on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the "La Centrale" building.

On this occasion, high school and middle school girls participating in the "Cordées de la réussite" program for the 2024-2025 school year will present their projects carried out on campus, with the guidance of student "mentors" and the support of the teachers in charge of the project.

This afternoon event, organized in partnership with the Femmes Ingénieures association, will also be an opportunity to discover portraits of women in industry in order to raise awareness among young people and their families, who are invited to attend, about careers in science and technology.

TwoArts et Métiers students, a technician, and an engineer will be present to highlight their career paths and the reasons why they chose to pursue a career in industry.

Program

  • 1:45 p.m.: Welcome coffee and presentation of the 12 practical projects carried out as part of the Cordées de la réussite program competing in the contest, followed by voting by those present.
  • 2:15 p.m.: Testimonials from women in the industry
  • 3:30 p.m.: Announcement of the winners from among the 12 projects and a "360-second" presentation of the three selected projects.
  • 4:00 p.m.: Closing snack and discussions
