The Arts et Métiers Foundation, in partnership with Bpifrance, La French Fab,the Academy of Technologies, Arts et Métiers and the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers, is creating the " Arts et Métiers Grand Prize Arts et Métiers Responsible Industries," intended to recognize startups with a solid plan for creating manufacturing jobs.
The reindustrialization of France has become one of the key objectives of national public policy. It will be driven by innovation from industrial startups investing in the development of manufacturing activities in our country. Furthermore, this new industrial activity must be sustainable in order to contribute to environmental transition.
The Arts et Métiers Foundation, in partnership with Bpifrance, La French Fab, the Academy of Technologies, Arts et Métiers and the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers, is creating the " Arts et Métiers Grand Prize Arts et Métiers Responsible Industries," intended to recognize startups with a solid plan for creating manufacturing jobs.
This initiative is in line with the France 2030 investment plan presented by the President of the Republic on October 12, 2021. It was in this context that, on January 19, 2022, a plan was decided upon to support industrial and deep tech startups and SMEs, with a budget of €2.2 billion over five years.
The Grand Prix Arts et Métiers on startups with industrial projects that will create jobs in France. For this first edition, 31 applications were received, covering a wide range of fields: agriculture, construction, metallurgy, connected factories, commercial shipping, space, logistics, chemistry, textiles, and energy.
Outlook for candidates
- €30,000 prize
- Support for winners by CLENAM (Club Entrepreneurs des Arts et Métiers) within the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers,
- The opportunity to present your project with maximum visibility at the Arts et Métiers Grand Prix Arts et Métiers Responsible Industries awards ceremony, to be held on March 21 in Paris at the Bpifrance headquarters, with the participation of decision-makers from the industrial world.
