On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny will open its doors for Science Day. Engineering students and staff will be on hand to offer activities and demonstrations organized for middle school students.

ON THE PROGRAM

Various phenomena and inventions will be presented at fun and practical stands that have been specially set up for the event.

Middle school students will also be able to discover activities and projects related to specific subject areas:

  1. Ecological transition
  2. Prototyping (with our fablab)
  3. Digital engineering and imaging
  4. Wood

 A presentation and demonstration circuit will be offered around: 

  1. Manufacturing processes (machining/forging/casting/woodworking, etc.)
  2. Materials

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

Day reserved for middle school classes and by registration only.

Registration is on a half-day basis and can be made by contacting Frédéric Delmas on +33 (0)3 85 59 53 19 or frederic.delmas@ensam.eu.

  1. Mornings from 9:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  2. Afternoon from 1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.

FOR SCHOOLS IN THE SECTOR

For middle schools in Matour St Cyr Middle School, Saint Gengoux Middle school in Fleurette, Cluny Prud'hon Middle School and Lugny V. Hugo Middle School, you are invited, if you wish, to spend half a day on campus and the other half at La Prat's High School in Cluny.
