Decarbonizing industry... Yes, but how?

Conference on the France's first port-based BioLNG production and storage project in Fos-sur-Mer: MethamorFos. Produced from the transformation of the biodegradable portion of household waste from the Marseille Provence region, BioLNG will enable the decarbonization of maritime transport from the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille, and will be used in particular for ships powered by liquefied natural gas belonging to the CMA CGM Group, the world leader in maritime transport and logistics. This project is part of a circular economy approach. The use of household waste from the metropolitan area will reduce local air pollutants, improving the quality of life for residents and air quality, and will promote the energy transition of maritime transport.
