Framatome, a corporate sponsorArts et Métiers, is committed to a reindustrialization project in Le Creusot.
To this end, the CNDP (National Commission for Public Debate) must first hold a public consultation on the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny.

The teams leading this preliminary consultation process would like to challenge the students of Grande Ecole Engineering Programme the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny. This is an opportunity for students to actively participate and engage in the consultation process—something you may find yourself doing once you enter the workforce.

What exactly is consultation?

The purpose of preliminary consultation is to involve the public as early as possible in the development of certain projects, particularly those likely to have an impact on the environment. It takes place before a permit application is submitted.
This preliminary consultation provides an opportunity to discuss:

  • the various aspects of this project, plan, or program: its relevance, its objectives and main characteristics or priorities, the associated socioeconomic issues, and the significant impacts it may have on the environment and land use planning;
  • and, where applicable, alternative solutions, including, for a project, the option of not proceeding with it.
    It also covers the procedures for informing and involving the public following the preliminary consultation.
