The Mobility Challenge is an initiative of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, in partnership withADEME, which takes place in the 12 departments that make up the region. Since 2011, the Challenge has been inviting institutions to organize an internal, one-day collective challenge on the theme of mobility.

As last year, the Chambéry institute is participating in 2018!

Sustainable transportation at the Chambéry InstituteThe challenge is simple: staff members and students are asked to try for one day (or more if they wish) to travel using means of transport that have less impact on the environment than those they usually use. Strong

Each participant will have to explain to a representative from the institute how their mode of transport that day differed from their usual mode of transport. The more different modes of transport the institute records, the more points it will accumulate to compete in the regional challenge. This is what enabled it to win a prize last year: a year's bike rental.

Participants will be welcomed with refreshments and will have the opportunity to discuss the great adventure of sustainable transportation. They can also take part in a workshop to try out electric bikes and/or have their own bikes serviced.

The Mobility Challenge is based on a voluntary approach, with no obligation to participate.
