As part of the Sustainable Development Meetings, Arts et Métiers a day on the theme of "Designing the Industry of the Future" on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
Arts et Métiers, a partner of the event, is organizing the Designer l’industrie du futur (Designing the Industry of the Future) day on October 2, with the participation of Richard Bearee, professor Arts et Métiers and director ofthe Physical and Digital Systems Engineering Laboratory, and Xavier Chateau, deputy group director.
The day will begin at 9:15 a.m. with a welcome address by Anaïs Voy-Gillis, Co-President of the Open Diplomacy Institute, Laurent Champaney, CEOArts et Métiers, Xavier Bertrand, President of the Hauts-de-France region, and Daniel Leca, Vice President of the Hauts-de-France region, responsible for universities, research, innovation, and Europe.
The debates will focus on the digital revolution and environmental disruptions: will Industry 4.0 deliver productivity gains to the point of offering hope for real ecological sobriety without social disruption, or will it lead to even greater mass consumption?
The Sustainable Development Meetings will take place entirely online.
