On May 3 and 4, 2018, Cap Sciences will host the first "Recruitment Hackathon Workshop" organized by the INNOV'ANCE InstituteArts et Métiers .
What is a "Recruitment Hackathon Workshop"?
An event bringing together first-year engineering students who wish to pursue the entrepreneurship program (UP program) and the business innovation program (TECHTOPME program) at the start of the next academic year.
The goal for them is to innovate and work as a team to produce a competitive application prototype.
The objective for Arts et Métiers evaluate, in a collaborative work situation, the skills, aptitudes, and dispositions of candidates to engage in a unique training program based on the management of a technological innovation project within a company (TECHTOPME) or business creation/takeover (UP).
Why this event?
In order to offer future entrepreneurial students a recruitment process tailored to the UP and TECHTOPME training programs, which will begin in September 2018.
To support companies' regional transition towards the industry of the future, Arts et Métiers chosen to train its young talents differently by involving them in these courses:
- The UP training program provides support to engineering students enrolled at our campuses who are motivated to start or take over businesses in the region.
- The TECHTOPME training program aims to provide long-term support (6 months to 2 years) to microbusinesses, SMEs, and mid-cap companies and address issues related to the development of specific technologies, the implementation of tools, processes, and methods, or the initiation of a process of skills and technology development. And if the company needs to initiate an upstream reflection process, the FAST (First Actions to Spread Technology) program aims to guide companies in their Industry of the Future-oriented innovation strategy over a short period of time (2 months).
These programs enable students to remain in their region and participate in local industrial development while receiving high-quality training. Individualized support for students with projects is provided within a new learning ecosystem (Arts et Métiers/Learning center/Coworking and design thinking spaces/Fablab/Pépite program, etc.). The latter is organized according to the pedagogical principles of integrative work-study programs and on-the-job learning, involving both academic tutors ( Arts et Métiers teachers) and professional tutors and coaches.
