The Student Union office team is handing over the reins to its successors. Julian Pelon, the current communications manager, and Clara Pontonnier, the new vice president, explain.

Our primary objective at the Student Union is to represent students, bring them together, and support them," explains Julian Pelon, Communications Manager. To this end, we organize numerous events. "

A first: the Gauloiserie festival

And the 2022-2023 academic year has been another busy one in this area, with the Arts et Métiers Forum, the7th edition of the Arts et Métiers challenge, Skiozarts, the Arts'Cade OpenCup video game event , and the Arts et Métiers Convention Arts et Métiers Ecological Transition.
There was also a brand new event: La Gauloiserie, an electro techno festival aimed at energizing student life in Paris. In April, 1,200 students gathered at the Aquaboulevard for a program featuring major artists such as BillX, Hysta, and Pawlowski.
The year isn't over yet, as the Grandes UAI will take place in Lille during Ascension weekend.
In addition to these festive events, the association also organized the Student Congress in Aix-en-Provence on March 4 and 5. During these two days, the new board was elected. Since then, the handover to the new team has been organized, particularly during weekends.

Improving communication with the school

Clara Pontonnier, the new vice president, is just beginning to find her feet:"I haven't yet mastered all aspects of the role of vice president. My tasks include energizing student life both on campus and in the residence hall, even though the students come from different campuses. I will therefore be working closely with the president of the class representatives and with the administration. One of my projects is to improve communication with the school!"
