Nathalie Klement, lecturer and researcher at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille, will talk to us about her various activities related to operational research and combinatorial optimization of industrial processes, as well as the industrial management expertise she has developed for engineering students at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille.

Biography of Nathalie Klement

Holder of a general engineering degree from SIGMA School near Clermont-Ferrand, specializing in industrial systems and logistics. Nathalie Klement completed her thesis at Blaise Pascal University (Clermont 2) on "Planning and resource allocation in healthcare networks" before becoming a Temporary Teaching and Research Assistant at the French Institute of Advanced Mechanics. 
Since 2015, she has been a Senior Lecturer at LISPEN (Laboratory of Physical and Digital Systems Engineering) located on the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille, directed by Richard Béarée. She works on the management of production systems, in particular through operational research algorithms and other resolution methods. Since 2017, she has also been Head of Industrial Management at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille, where she has set up work-study programs. In 2021, Nathalie Klement teamed up with Dorine Van der Waals, Head of Corporate Relations at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille, to create a chair in industrial management, whose five partners are patronsArts et Métiers mc2i, Movn'tec, EDF, Hermès, and XL-groupe.
