Mathieu Grossard is an expert in robotic manipulation at CEA List. He shares his experience with students in the ColRobot Specialized Master's program.

This is the second year that Mathieu Grossard has been teaching on the ColRobot Specialized Master's program at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille. His course covers the design and control of flexible structures actuated and measured by piezoelectric transducers.  " This allows students to discover a new field of application for robotics through the specificities of micro-robotics, " explains Mathieu Grossard.

The course focuses on very concrete cases carried out as part of research work by the CEA's robotics expert. " I place greater emphasis on the physical meaning of things rather than the mathematical aspect." This principle appeals to students because it resonates with what they did before entering the MS program. Some students had worked on specific aspects of piezoelectric materials in their previous experiences.
