Following an explosive 2022 edition on the Angers Campus, the Grandes UAI are returning to Lille from May 18 to 21, 2023 ! This is THE annual sports competition organized by students, for students.
Taking up the torch after Angers
1,000 students from the general engineering program at the eight Arts et Métiers campuses Arts et Métiers in Lille in 2023 for a weekend of sports in a spirit of competition but also of fraternity, which is so dear to the students.
This weekend of collective values is made possible by the support of the Lille Campus administration and the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers, which are enabling all these students to experience this event. Students will be accommodated on the Lille campus, in its buildings classified as Historic Monuments and rich in history, and the sports competitions will take place in the city of Lille and the municipalities of Faches-Thumesnil and Ronchin.
Defending your colors on the field, but not only that...
Whether they come as supporters to cheer on their classmates, or as athletes to compete in the various sports on offer, such as athletics, soccer, volleyball, handball, swimming, etc., they are all determined to win the title of Campus Champion of the Grandes UAI 2023. Last year, the Bordeaux campus dominated the field, prompting other campuses to redouble their efforts this year to win the coveted title.
A team of 16 students to take on the challenge
For eight months now, the students on the organizing committee for the 2023 edition have been working hard to meet the logistical and financial challenges, because with a budget of €150,000 and sponsors such as RedBull and Lydia, the stakes are high! This event demonstrates the ability of students to organize large-scale projects beyond the disciplines taught in engineering.
How can you support the event?
The Grandes UAI is the sporting event of the year for students, but also for alumni of Arts et Métiers. The network of 34,000 active alumni attends the event every year, either in person or through daily communications. If you would like to associate your company's colors and values with those of the Grandes UAI, you can support us in any way you wish to make this edition another success!
