Preserving and promoting nature at the heart of our institutions: this is the ambition of the Biodiversity Charter signed by Arts et Métiers August 28, 2025. Each campus, whether in an urban or natural setting, has its own ecological riches. Through concrete actions and a better understanding of their ecosystems, they actively participate in the protection of local flora and fauna.

A collective and responsible approach

The Arts et Métiers campuses, located throughout France, are committed to a strong environmental approach. The Biodiversity Charter commits each Arts et Métiers site Arts et Métiers three main strategic areas:

  • preserve and develop green spaces,
  • promote coexistence with local wildlife,
  • raise awareness among students and staff about the ecological richness of the area,
  • incorporate these actions into a sustainable and responsible vision.

The unanimous support of campus directors reflects a shared commitment: to make each site a committed player in the ecological transition.

The Biodiversity Charter is not just a document: it represents a collective dynamic driven by all campus departments, involving teaching staff, students, and local partners.
