For its 40th anniversary, the Forum des Arts et Métiers building on what has made it successful, while taking on a new momentum.
First, it has been given a facelift, with a modernized logo and a new slogan: "Because every career begins with an encounter."
The Forum is also committed to digitalization. Seekube, the virtual version of the forum created three years ago, is complemented by a platform for students and companies to make appointments to prepare for their day on November 26, with a view to recruitment 2.0. Printed brochures have also been replaced by digital versions.

Strengthening ties with businesses

The organizing team, made up of 19 students from all Arts et Métiers campuses, also wanted to strengthen partnerships with companies. There will be many, with Orano in particular as a sponsor. "While last year we welcomed 140 companies, this year we expect to receive between 150 and 160," says Nathan Simon. "Rather than presentations by HR managers, we have opted for conferences with high-profile figures: the Director of Strategy and Innovation at Total, the CEOs of Safran and IBM, and others." These leaders of major companies and prominent figures will talk about their careers and the new challenges facing the national and international job market.
In addition, new career opportunities are being promoted with a stand offered to the BPI to present the VTE, Volontariat Territorial en Entreprise (Territorial Corporate Volunteering). This is a program that builds bridges between young talent from prestigious universities and SMEs in the regions.

Contests and challenges in tune with current trends

Finally, competitions and challenges are being brought up to date. The Arts et Métiers Challenge, an innovation challenge that promotes companies through teams of students, will offer more in-depth issues.
Youtubers are making their debut on the jury with the participation of the Incroyables Expériences channel.
The CV competition is becoming fashionable and will offer winners suits and shirts.

An eco-friendly approach

The association is also thinking about the future by adopting an eco-friendly approach. In partnership with the NGO WeForest, a tree will be planted for each company present. But it is also looking ahead to the 41st edition. Traditionally organized by third-year engineering students, this year the association's team has opened up to second-year students and work-study students "to ensure better knowledge transfer," explains Nathan Simon.
