The Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications d'Excellence Forêt-Bois Bourgogne-Franche-Comté organized a week-long immersion program for a delegation of Austrian teachers, trainers, and school principals to discover the forestry and wood industry in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
On the agenda
Presentations by CMQE Forêts-Bois, the regional sector by Fibois BFC, DRAAF missions, sawing and forest management simulators (Silva Numerica) by EPL Besançon/CFPPA Chateaufarine.
Visits to the SIBC sawmill, the Lycée du Bois, ALD Construction, andthe European Training Institute of the Compagnons du Tour de France in Mouchard. But also to FCBA, Cluster Robin.s, and the Lycée des Marc d'Or and its woodworking workshops.
Our Austrian colleagues seem delighted and are leaving with many avenues for exchange and collaboration. For the CMQ, this event was an opportunity to strengthen ties with Austria and its Styre partners.
