Promotion of the School and its various programs

Students were on hand at the booth to help staff present the school's various programs to visitors. The day also gave students from different programs a chance to spend time together and with staff.

Presentation of several student and campus projects, as well as demonstrations

On the student side, two projects were presented. The first was the PICTO* project by first-year Bachelor of Technology students, "Albert The Wizard," a mechanical puppet that looks like a wizard. The second was one of the projects by third-year apprentices, a traction machine capable of performing traction tests on flat or cylindrical test pieces.

On the campus side, this year's major projects were presented, such as the collaborative workspace, the die-casting foundry, the Transfer and Innovation Workshops (ATI), etc.

The public was also able to attend demonstrations of 3D printing and handheld scanners, and see some items manufactured on campus in various workshops, such as the foundry.

* The PICTO project is a competition for first-year Bachelor of Technology students whose goal is to create original and innovative solutions. The theme for 2020-2021 was: "Tell a story, a significant event (historical, news item, etc.), a legend, or a fable by creating your own mechanical puppet theater."

Signing of partnership agreement with Alméa Formations Interpro

The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons and Alméa Formations Interpro have signed a partnership agreement.

This agreement has made it possible to formalize the management of apprenticeship contracts and to welcome the Digitale Académie to the campus premises.

The event ended with a friendly get-together over refreshments!

In attendance were Gabriel Francart, President of the Center Council, Giovanni Radilla, Director of the Châlons Campus, Corinne Grosse, Managing Director of Alméa, and Virginie Jama, Campus Manager of the Digitale Académie in Châlons.
