Organized by CaMéX-IA, DAI3 was held on Thursday, April 11, at ArcelorMittal's Digital Lab in Uckange. Always working closely with its partners, this event offered its 40 members the opportunity to (re)discover CaMéX-IA's activities, gain a better understanding of the use of AI, and, above all, (re)discover the industrial sites that are members of the network.

On Thursday, April 11, 2024,high school students, college students, teachers, staff, and local authorities gathered for the third edition of Digital Artificial Intelligence (DAI3) organized by CaMéX-IA Grand Est.

Olivier BECHT kicks off the day's festivities!

Olivier BECHT, Member of Parliament for Haut-Rhin and Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade, Attractiveness, and French Nationals Abroad in Elisabeth Borne's government, honored us with his presence at DAI3.

Before his speech to launch the event, he spoke with students from La Briquerie high school and the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz about the evolution of AI in today's society and the importance of this technology in the professional world.

The evolution of AI in the professional world

Artificial intelligence intrigues, raises questions, and opens up new perspectives, particularly for businesses. That is why the morning session of the day focused on this topic.

Participants were able to take part in a workshop on the everyday use of generative AI in the professional world. They were also able to attend a conference on "Digital technology and AI at ArcelorMittal" and discuss and share their experiences of CaMéX-IA projects.

(Re)discover the industrial sites of CaMéX-IA network members

This year, CaMéX-IA decided to relocate its event and highlight the industrial companies that are members of the CaMéX-IA network. Participants in the day's events were able to visit one of the following three industrial sites:

  • ArcelorMittal Digital Lab in Uckange/Florange;
  • thyssenKrupp in Florange;
  • Galsa2 from ArcelorMittal in Florange.
