Arts et Métiers a two-year master's degree in "Factory of the Future" to graduates with a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree: the first year is devoted to fundamental sciences and industrial applications, while the second year is dedicated to specialization.
Students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the different stages of a scientific research project through scientific immersion within the research units atArts et Métiers. They develop project management skills while benefiting from in-depth training in engineering sciences.
When applying, students choose a specialization from among nearly 20 options, classified into three main areas:
- Industrial Engineering
- Energy
- Mechanical Engineering
The first year (60 ECTS) takes place on the Paris campus and is taught entirely in English. It consists of two main blocks:
- Calculation: Mathematics, data processing, numerical methods
- Communication and organization: Bibliographic techniques, project management, scientific communication in English, career development, and foreign language (French or English)
Students also take compulsory courses related to their specialization. An industry internship (minimum 13 weeks) is mandatory in order to develop professional skills.
During the second year (60 ECTS), specific theoretical courses are taught during the first semester. Students then prepare their master's thesis during the second semester. The courses and thesis depend on the specialization chosen from among 20 options in three fields:
- Industrial Engineering
- Energy
- Mechanical Engineering
