Learning centers and learning spaces

Learning spaces - Evolutive Learning Factory Arts et Métiers

Find out more about the "Learning centers and learning spaces" project, one of the nine major Evolutive Learning Factory projects.

DESIGN LEARNING CENTERS, DEPLOY SIGNAGE

Deploy learning centers across all campuses

Each campus now has libraries and Fablabs.
The novelty of this project lies in:

  • to enrich these places and transform them into learning centers.
These centers will incorporate documentary resources, digital technology and prototyping equipment, as well as spaces for scientific mediation and social interaction.
They will house video studios, spaces for discovering new 4.0 technologies, and even showrooms.
  • to equip campuses with learning spaces, autonomous collaborative workspaces.
  • to deploy signage throughout all ELF spaces and to associate CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) skills with the workspaces where they are implemented. This signage will give students an overview of their training, reinforce their understanding of its usefulness, and thus increase their active engagement in their learning.

How?

The year 2024 will be devoted to the planning and design of learning centers. The Aix-en-Provence and Châlons-en-Champagne campuses already have several building blocks that form a learning center. The aim will be to complete them.
The other campuses all have libraries, fablabs, and co-modal rooms. The project aims to rethink the spaces and/or create links between them.
The work will be carried out in 2025 and 2026.
