Educational objectives

At the end of the training, the trained engineer must be able to:

  • Mastering a field of technical skills,
  • Managing all aspects of a project, from defining specifications to operating a facility, system, or product.
  • Integrate all modern energy components (renewable energies, smart grids, electric vehicles, etc.)
  • Manage a team

Program

The 1,720-hour academic program (1,790 hours for students with a BTS diploma who are taking refresher courses) is divided into four main sections:

  • Engineering sciences: 20%
  • Technological knowledge and expertise: 41%
  • Economics, humanities, and social sciences: 23%
  • Methodological knowledge and skills: 16%
     
  • One 200-hour expertise course to choose from among six topics:
    • maintenance in operational condition
    • production systems for Industry 4.0
    • mechatronics
    • aerospace systems engineering
    • energy flow engineering
    • business engineer
       
  • A parallel career path within the company
     
  • An engineering project representing at least 600 hours of work completed and defended at the end of the program.
     
  • A three-month period of international mobility (in non-French-speaking countries or regions) is included in the curriculum. This period is mandatory in order to obtain the engineering degree. For mobility within the European Union, students may be eligible for the ERASMUS+ program and its associated scholarship.

Partner

The training is carried out in partnership with ITII-PACA.

Recruitment

  • Hold a BTS, BUT, scientific or technical bachelor's degree, or CPGE ATS
  • Be under 30 years of age on the date the contract is signed
  • Sign an apprenticeship contract with a company

This training program welcomes 25 apprentices each year. It is also available through continuing education.

Admission requirements

Based on review of application, written tests, and interviews with teachers and professionals.
