Innovation Week is open to all Arts et Métiers students.
"Innovation... what are we talking about?", "Start-ups and Venture Capital", "Being an entrepreneur: attitude and actions", " " are just some of the webinars on offer during Entrepreneurship Week, organized by Arts et Métiers PEPITE and AMJE.
They will be led by two leadingspeakers in the field of entrepreneurship: Jean-Philippe Poisson,an expert in innovation and digital strategy, and Louis Ickx, project manager for the detection and engineering of innovative projects.
Guests guests will share their experiences of setting up innovative businesses or companies (3D Natives, Biogeny, Poietis, Bone3D, etc.).
Finally, a webinar will be dedicated to the AM entrepreneurship ecosystem and its startups.
The highlight of the week will be an online Open Innovation challenge, organized in partnership with SAFRAN. Called the SAFRAN Blackout Challenge, it will involve coming up with alternative solutions to avoid a disaster scenario in which a solar storm has rendered all GNSS systems inoperative.
This is an opportunity to get noticed by Safran's international experts from Safran, but also to win prizes (checks for €1,000 and €500) and take a private tour of the SAFRAN innovation center, or even land an internship.

What are the definitions of innovation, its nature, and the potential risks associated with it? How can innovative project management be successfully implemented?
- 5:30 p.m. to 7p.m.: Overview of innovation methodologies (1/2), by Jean-Philippe POISSON
The aim of these methodologies is to increase the success of innovation initiatives. We will introduce the most widely used methodologies (C-K, TRIZ, design thinking, etc.), provide examples of practical applications, and discuss their link with creativity and neuroscience.

Intrapreneurship, venture capital funds, collective intelligence platforms... what are the innovation mechanisms used in a corporate setting?
Through examples, we will highlight the specific rules to which intrapreneurship particularly applies.

What is a startup? What are its development characteristics?
What are the key factors for raising funds? What pitfalls should be avoided?

With a few exceptions, entrepreneurs are not born, they are made. Exploring your own personality, identifying the resources you need to seek out, the pitfalls to avoid, finding your partner/team... these are all elements that should not be overlooked when building a winning strategy.
Thursday, September 24, 2020:
- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: 100% DIGITAL OPEN INNOVATION CHALLENGE
The theme of this challenge:
It is 2022, and following a solar storm, GNSS systems have just failed and will remain inoperative for a long time (GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEM: Glonass, GPS, Galileo, etc.).
The world is in turmoil: there is no longer a satellite base for positioning, navigation, and accurate timing. Congestion is increasing: air and sea traffic is severely disrupted, and motorists are getting lost... Cohesion is quickly giving way to a climate of panic.
Choose your theme (Air, Land, or Sea) and register (individually or as a team of up to 5 members) before September 20: click here to register.
Prices:
- a check for €1,000 for the winning team, and a private tour of SAFRAN's innovation center
- a check for 500 euros for the second,
- a check for 500 euros for third place,
In bonus for everyone, a private tour of SAFRAN's innovation center and a possible internship or recruitment at the end of the year for third-year students.
The finalists will have the opportunity to build a prototype. To do so, they will be supported by experts and will present their project to the senior management of Safran Electronics & Defense.
Friday, September 25 September 2020 : JURY CHALLENGE AND PRESENTATION OF THE AM ENTREPRENEURSHIP ECOSYSTEM

The juries will be composed of members of the AM ecosystem and partners.
Listen to and comment on the pitches from the challenge winners! A chat and/or Facebook Live session will be organized by AMJE to gather your feedback and comments. What pitfalls should be avoided?
1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. : Presentation of the AMEntrepreneuriat ecosystem and the PEIT,
AM School is pleased to partner with Pepite HESAM to present its specialized entrepreneurship training program: the Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation Course (PEIT).
The structures that have historically developed entrepreneurship at ENSAM will also be presented to you, as they are essential to the overall ecosystem (CLENAM, AMA, AMBA, etc.).

Louis has had several entrepreneurial experiences, including a very intense one involving a disruptive innovation startup. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, new technologies, and the humanities. An educator at heart, he wants to light the way for entrepreneurs who are looking for help to "think outside the box" while structuring their entrepreneurial approach. His goal: to maximize the chances of success.
