Join the Aix-en-Provence campus, which is co-organizing the Sustainable Development Meetings on November 8, 2023, on the theme " Sobriety and sovereignty: one war, two fronts... what battle plans?"

The Sustainable Development Meetings launched in 2020 by the Open Diplomacy Institute are the largest annual democratic events, free of charge, dedicated to addressing the challenges of transition in order to improve transportation, housing, preservation and enhancement of our ecosystems, production, nutrition, and consumption.

Objectives of the Sustainable Development Meetings

The aim of the Sustainable Development Meetings is to help citizens form an informed opinion on all these aspects of sustainable development through inclusive debates that are accessible to all.

It also aims to further the discussion that emerged from the 2022 edition on ecological planning, taking into account the European context, integrating the geopolitical context as a dynamic element, refining the reflection on the territorialization of the transition, and emphasizing concrete actions based on ecological planning France, a green nation.

Arts et Métiers the third regional stage

The Aix campus is one of six stops on the tour. The launch and conclusion of the Rencontres will take place in Paris on October 5 and 6 and December 13. The regional stages will follow: Gif-sur-Yvette on October 11, Dijon on October 18, Aix-en-Provence on November 8, and Montpellier on November 15.
