Is recycling the economy a major challenge?

Our industry alone accounts for one-third of our greenhouse gas emissions: in addition to industrial processes themselves, which cost us 10% of our carbon budget, there is also the energy consumed by secondary production (23% of our emissions). The ecological challenge is therefore primarily an industrial challenge. To meet this challenge, the development of a circular economy and the optimization of our resources through digital transition give us reason to be hopeful. But how can we move faster to transform industry leaders into champions of transition?

To answer this question, Nicolas Perry will speak at the round table discussion "Recycling the economy: rethinking our production system" (2:30-4:00 p.m.) alongside:

  • Gilles Berhault, President of the Transitions Foundation
  • Anne-Laure Cattelot, Member of Parliament, Author of the ministerial report on "Acceleration platforms for the industry of the future"
  • Julien Dubourg, Director of Customer Relations and Marketing at Citeo
  • Anicia Jaegler, Professor at KEDGE Business School
  • Guillaume Vat, Director of the Rambouillet Plant at L'Oréal.
