The Laval Institute Arts et Métiers will be present at the Science Village to showcase innovation processes and virtual reality!

Workshop theme

Discover how virtual, augmented, and mixed reality are transforming the way we learn, work, and provide healthcare. Through this animation, you will be invited to explore the research conducted by the Presence & Innovation team at the Institut Arts et Métiers Laval, which focuses on the user experience in these immersive environments.

What effects do these technologies have on our perceptions, actions, and emotions? What are their practical applications in education, industry, and healthcare? Come and test, ask questions, and share your thoughts!

A student project from Master of Science MTI3D Master of Science program (2024–2025) will also showcase this work with an original and innovative demonstration: Innovation Island VR. This educational virtual reality game lets players immerse themselves in a pirate tavern. It’s a team-based game where cooperation is key!
