The Institut Arts et Métiers Chalon-sur-Saône invites you to the 11th edition of the Chal’engeAM Challenge, an event that brings together students and companies from Bourgogne Franche Comté to discuss virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence technologies.

Objectives and prices

This Challenge, organized in partnership with the Greater Chalon metropolitan area, Usinerie Partners, the UIMM's 21-71 training center, and CNAM BFC, aims to:

  • Strengthening ties between academia and industry
  • Preparing students for professional challenges
  • Promoting digital transition through the use of innovative technologies

Students in Master of Science "Digital Engineering" will collaborate with local companies to develop working prototypes, presented as functional proofs of concept. This year, the competition also includes projects focused on artificial intelligence and digital marketing, thanks to the participation of CNAM BFC and EGC Centre-Est.

A moment to discover these innovative projects and support the talents of tomorrow. 

Four prizes will be awarded: 

  1. the price of economic opportunity, 
  2. the power of persuasion award, 
  3. the price of innovation 
  4. the audience award.

On the agenda

2:00 p.m.: Introduction (speeches by dignitaries and presentation of the challenge)
2:20 p.m.: Student project pitches
3:15 p.m.: Project demonstration session
4:00 p.m.: Deliberation and awards ceremony
4:30 p.m.: Social gathering

  • Thermodyn: Component assembly visualization application
  • Vertec: Immersive application for newcomers to a glass factory
  • DSDEN 71: Educational archaeology app for children
  • AS Handball Club Chalon: App for training and coaching handball goalkeepers
  • Chefs Op’ Festival: App to guide participants at the Chefs Op’ festival

Artificial intelligence

  • ENSAM: Behavioral data analysis through topological analysis
  • ENSAM: Creation of a human-machine interface, updating/prediction of a productivity index
  • U. Bourgogne-Europe: Medical image analysis
