On Thursday, March 27, the campus will hostthe 12th SME-Grandes Ecoles meetings, an event organized by the region's three leading engineering schools: Arts et Métiers, Centrale Méditerranée, and Mines de Saint-Étienne campus Aix-Marseille Provence.
These meetings aim to connect engineering students with small and medium-sized businesses in the region through booths and roundtable discussions. This will allow students to discover the opportunities offered by local companies.
The event is aimed at first-year students from the three schools, with around 500 students expected to attend.
Around 30 small and medium-sized businesses are expected to attend and will have stands in the fields of the environment, industry, engineering consulting/design offices, AI and data science, electronics/robotics, and construction/public works.
The aim is to introduce students to the region's professional ecosystem of start-ups, small and medium-sized businesses, and to spark their curiosity about:
• career opportunities
• versatile roles
• taking on responsibility and working independently
• flexible salaries
• discovering a profession or sector of activity
