Launched in September 2020, the "Science and Technology for Digital Transformation" training chair, in partnership with Sopra Steria Next, welcomes 26 students in their third year of the Arts et Métiers Grande Ecole Program. This is the first training chair offered at Arts et Métiers.
Read the testimonials of three students enrolled in this program, which focuses on the technological, organizational, and societal challenges of digital transformation.

Claire Terrazzoni: "We will enter the job market with an understanding of the challenges facing businesses."

After earning a double degree from the INSTN (National Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology) and an end-of-studies internship at Framatome, Claire decided to join the "Science and Technology for Digital Transformation" team to round out her profile. "I knew nothing about machine learning, so I was very curious."

Once the training began, Claire discovered a keen interest in the subject: "Thanks to the expertise, I really got hooked on the issue of machine learning!"

For her, the fact that the expertise is provided in partnership with Sopra Steria Next is a real strength:

The training program is comprehensive, covering both theory and industrial applications. The courses taught by Sopra Steria experts give us a solid grounding in practical skills and provide us with case studies. We will enter the job market with a clear understanding of the challenges facing businesses.

Her plans: after graduating with an engineering degree Arts et Métiers 2021, Claire would like to write a thesis combining nuclear energy and machine learning.

Tristan de Guillebon: "The first expertise focused on technology and digital transformation"

After his first year of studies at the Lille campus, Tristan de Guillebon applied for this program at the Paris campus because he is interested in "the technical aspects of data science and the management side."
Secretary General of AMJE Paris, thanks to which he can take"his first steps in the world of entrepreneurship,"this training validates his skills and allows him to stand out during interviews for internships: "Recruiters were very interested in what I was doing. They asked me questions about the technical side, but also about team management. And some of them are now approaching me."
Regarding the educational aspect of this expertise, Tristan says: "I really like the four-module structure because a schedule is provided from the outset. You want to go to class because you know right away what you're going to be doing. What's more, the teachers are really available and listen to everyone's questions.

This expertise represents a real opportunity for me, as it is the first expertise focused on technology and digital transformation, which was not Arts et Métiers offered at Arts et Métiers .

His plans: "I want to work in digital transformation, and this training program is helping me develop new skills. Since we worked with Sopra Storia Next, we can show that we have mastered their tools and new management methods, which I think is very important."

A major in mechanical engineering at the Paris campus, he explains: "This program allows me to do more research in this field and to practice using the tools we see in class on my own. The teachers are always available to answer our questions, which helps us a lot. "
While also pursuing a master's degree in Business Management in evening classes at the Institute of Business Administration, his goals are clear: "I want to work as a digital transformation consultant to gain a comprehensive profile as a data scientist in the banking management sector, if possible.
