A look back at the steering committee meeting for the COHERENCE4D collaborative research project
News

In January, Lispen organized the steering committee meeting for the COHERENCE4D collaborative research project on the Aix-en-Provence campus.

The COHERENCE4D project, contracted with the French National Research Agency (ANR) in 2021 and led by the LISPEN laboratory, aims to develop a new paradigm for modeling, visualization, interaction, and maintaining the consistency of 4D digital twins interfaced with physical systems that evolve over time.
Jean-Philippe Pernot is the project leader. His team includes Arnaud Polette (associate professor) and Marho Orukele (doctoral student).
The project partners are four public research laboratories: Lispen, the scientific leader of the project on campus, the G-SCOP laboratory at INP Grenoble, the LIS laboratory at Aix-Marseille University, and the Roberval laboratory at UTC.
They met at the end of January on campus to discuss the latest advances in maintaining consistency between the digital and physical twins of the various platforms.

The opportunity for demonstrations

This COPIL meeting also provided an opportunity to demonstrate the smart machining platform and the wall of screens in the LISPEN laboratory.
This is a wonderful project with impressive results that will enable us to better respond to the growing demand for the deployment of the digital twin concept in industry.
