Over the weekend, students from the Grande Ecole program in Metz traveled to Châlons-en-Champagne to meet their counterparts there.
These two days were punctuated by several events. On Saturday, they took part in the 4C, Course Colorée de Châlons-en-Champagne, with the director of the Châlons campus, Giovanni Radilla.
But they also took part in solidarity actions on Sundays:
- Creation of an educational vegetable garden, a chicken coop, and a forest trail above 111 (a collaborative workspace in Châlons)
- Construction of outdoor benches using recycled materials (wood and empty champagne bottles) in collaboration with the restaurant "Aux Armes de Champagne."
- Manufacture of around twenty panels on wheels using recycled materials, which will be used to divide up the open-plan spaces at 111.
These days provided an opportunity to raise awareness among first-year students and residents of Châlons about ecology, low-tech solutions, and the reuse of materials!
Events organized in collaboration with the City of Châlons-en-Champagne
The health pass was mandatory.
