Eleven corporate sponsors and partners Arts et Métiers to meet students at the Lille campus.
11 sponsors meet with more than 150 students
On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, second- and third-year students at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille had the opportunity to participate in the career and internship forum organized at La Centrale. This event was a special opportunity for discussion, offering students a unique chance to secure an end-of-year or end-of-study internship.
Beyond the search for internships, the forum allowed participants to discuss their career paths, explore the various career opportunities available to them, and learn more about future prospects in their field.
Patrons and essential supporters of new talent
Arts et Métiers recently opened its doors to its partner companies, including Hermès, MC2i, Mov'NTec, EDF, Savencia, Kaizen Institute, Vinci, Safran, ArcelorMittal, Framatome, and Véolia. The aim of this event was to bring these major companies together around a common interest: co-building the industry of the future. It was a real opportunity for discussion and reflection, where engineers and students came together to share their projects and future challenges.
For companies, this half-day event represents a unique opportunity to identify and recruit new talent. With the industrial sector constantly evolving, it is essential for companies to respond to the environmental, economic, and technological challenges they face. By partnering with Arts et Métiers , these companies have the opportunity to meet a diverse range of candidates who are capable of meeting these challenges.
A rewarding internship search
For students, this event provides an opportunity to deepen their understanding of activities outside their curriculum, while offering a fresh and critical perspective on the current and/or future initiatives of partner companies. It is an opportunity to gain valuable experience, showcase the skills developed during their training, and refine their career plans. The goal is to give students the opportunity not only to search for internships, but also to expand their network of committed professionals. It is an ideal context for students to discover the business world.
They testify...
Erwan Briand, a second-year student and co-organizer of the event: " This year's career and internship forum was a great success! The discussions were even more enriching and dynamic than last year, with highly motivated participants. My role as a communicator mainly consisted of encouraging people to come and motivating them, and it clearly paid off. It was a very inspiring edition for all of us! "
Rémi Di Domenico, third-year student: " The Sponsors Forum was very interesting. It gave me insight into many opportunities in sectors that I hadn't previously considered. Talking with Hermès and the Kaizen Institute helped me improve my understanding of consulting. I also really enjoyed talking to representatives from Arcelor Mittal about their demonstrators and the engineering profession."
A big thank you to our partners and all the students for their attendance and collaboration.
