  • Presentation of the key to the city of Angers to engineering students: "Welcome"?

Since 1963, the key to the city of Angers has been handed over to students Association des ÉGadzarts d'Angers - Arts et Métiers an important moment at the start of the academic year, symbolizing the strong ties between the municipality and engineering students. For this event, second-year students parade through the city in single file, followed by first-year students and their floats.
Creativity, inventiveness, pragmatism, cohesion, and teamwork are the key words for the design of these floats, which are specially created for the occasion.

Named the "Arts et Métiers" bridge, the unveiling of the plaque on the bridge connecting the two banks of the Maine River and bearing the school's name is a testament to the bond of trust that unites the city and the school, which has been established and active in the Angers region for over 200 years.
