Since 2004, Times Higher Education has been providing reliable data on university performance to students and their families, academics, institutional leaders, governments, and industry. The university rankings enable the performance of universities to be assessed on a global scale and provide a better understanding of the different missions and achievements of higher education institutions.
Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025
In 2025, Arts et Métiers between 601 and 800 in the World University Rankings (WUR) by subject in the Engineering category. The school ranks as the 9th French engineering school (10th in 2024: up one place) and 18th French institution out of the 41 ranked (21st place in 2024: +3 places).
Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings 2025
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assess higher education institutions based on their commitments to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the UN.
Since 2021, Arts et Métiers ranked for SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure. As part of its DDRS action plan, and more specifically objective 2, "Be recognized for the actions taken," the institution has chosen to join the THE Impact Rankings general classification starting in 2024.
