On September 19 and 20,AFAM (American Friends of Arts et Métiers) organized the 2026 edition of Gadz’Meet in San Francisco, which brought together more than 100 Gadz’Arts—including 70 students and 30 alumni—from various regions of the United States: Atlanta (Georgia Tech), New York (Columbia), Boston (MIT), Michigan, and Texas (Texas A&M).
What is AFAM (American Friends of Arts et Métiers)?
AFAM (American Friends of Arts et Métiers) is the nonprofit organization that represents and supports the Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) community in the United States.
AFAM supports engineering students at theArts et Métiers in their efforts to secure internships or study in the United States, while bringing together the community of alumni living in North America. At the same time, the association promotes the school’s international reputation through partnerships with American universities and companies, and encourages entrepreneurship.
Gadz'Meet 2026: A Weekend in the San Francisco Bay Area
On the weekend of September 19–20, 2026, nearly 70 students and 30 alumni from various regions of the United States—including Atlanta (Georgia Tech), New York (Columbia), Boston (MIT), Michigan, and Texas (Texas A&M)—gathered in San Francisco for the 2026 edition of Gadz'Meet! The others are currently studying in the San Francisco Bay Area, notably at UC Berkeley and Stanford.
Throughout the weekend, students and alumni had the opportunity to meet, talk, and form new connections.
Beyond the event’s friendly atmosphere, GadzMeet helps strengthen the Gadz’Arts network in the United States, bring different generations together, and forge connections between students currently studying abroad in the United States and alumni who live and work there.
