For the 11th edition, the association is organizing Le Grand Bastringue, a series of reggae concerts in Cluny and in the heart of the Abbey.
Le Grand Bastringue aims to be a landmark event in the world of reggae. The goal of this musical event is to permanently anchor Le Grand Bastringue in the cultural heritage of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.
Motivated by the 4,300 festival-goers and the third prize for best reggae festivals won in 2016, this 11th edition aims to succeed in our humanitarian mission in Nepal.
Baptiste Goudeau, president of this year's festival, points out that the proceeds from the festival will be used to finance the humanitarian trip organized by the GaSole association. This summer, engineering students who are members of the GaSole association will travel to Nepal to help rebuild a water system, a school, and a hospital that were destroyed in the 2015 earthquake.
