MEASURES RELATING TO CORONAVIRUS – OCTOBER 2020

Campus de Châlons-en-Champagne
News

Following the government announcement on new measures in fight against Coronavirus, Arts et Metiers’ teaching arrangements will change until December 1st.

PEDAGOGICAL CONTINUITY PLAN

Teaching will be conducted remotely.

As during the first lockdown, classes switch entirely to remote teaching via two complementary working methods:

  • Asynchronous: All the necessary documents for the continuity of the courses can be found on the SAVOIR platform. Teachers will provide students with work instructions and expectations.
  • Synchronous: A videoconference will be scheduled at the same time as the face-to-face teaching session (initially scheduled in the timetable in LISE). Not all teaching sessions will be consistently scheduled in synchronous mode and students will be informed of the upcoming session.

Any student unable to follow remote learning courses must notify the Director of the training programme as soon as possible.

PRACTICAL COURSES

Practical courses that cannot be replaced by a remote activity will not be provided before December 1st.

EXAMS

During the lockdown, Arts et Métiers students will not have any exams. Any planned exams will be rescheduled after December 1st.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WITHIN AN ARTS ET MÉTIERS CAMPUS

International exchange students on an Arts et Métiers campus benefit from the same arrangements as other students and the same remote learning courses.

ACCESS TO CAMPUSES

Libraries and IT rooms are only accessible upon prior appointment.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

Research activities continue to be carried out.

CONTINUITY OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES

Administrative staff, working from home or on site, are mobilised to ensure the smooth running of the school during the lockdown.

To keep up to date with the situation, please check your mailbox regularly. We also invite you to regularly check artsetmetiers.fr
