On October 24th 2019, Arts et Métiers and Tongji University organised an international seminar at Tongji University to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the signature of a Cooperation Framework Agreement and a Master-level Double Diploma Program Agreement between the two institutions.

The seminar treated a major issue for the industry of the future : « Mobility and Transportation in the Digital Age ». and brought together more than 80 participants from Tongji University, Arts et Métiers, the Alumni Society of Arts et Métiers, as well as Chinese and French companies.

In the opening ceremony, Bo JIANG Vice President of Tongji University and Prof Laurent CHAMPANEY President of Arts et Métiers presented the strong partnershIp between the 2 institutions and their commitment to build even stronger links in the future in education, research and entrepenariat... 

Rrepresentatives from Chinese and French companies as well as professors from the 2 institutions participated in the 4 round- table seminars on « Open Laboratory of PSA Peugeot Citroen », « Clean and Sustainable Products », « Motor Design in the Transportation Field » and « Innovation and Virtual Reality ».

Participants exchanged their views on those topics and explored collaborative projects for the future.
