Six Arts et Métiers campuses Arts et Métiers in the Science Festival from October 10 to 15, 2017.
The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny will be the first to kick off the festivities on Tuesday, October 10. Engineering students and staff will be on hand to offer activities and demonstrations for middle school students. On the agenda: renewable energy, prototyping, digital engineering, and imaging.
On Thursday, December 12, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne invites ninth-grade students to come and discover various scientific and technological activities based on the theme "The sky is for those who think about it."
Why is Valyrian steel so strong? What can we learn from electrons traveling through matter? How can we use X-ray tomography to guess what surprise is hidden inside a chocolate egg? Researchers at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz will be answering these and many other questions on October 13 and 14.
On Saturday, October 14, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Paris is offering a series of activities focused on science and technology.
From October 14 to 15, two Arts et Métiers campuses Arts et Métiers also Arts et Métiers Science Day:
- The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers is participating in the science village to introduce visitors to the mechanical concepts essential for designing the cars, planes, and trains of tomorrow.
- The Arts et Métiers Institute will also be present at the science village with a virtual archery experience and the opportunity to create objects with a 3D printer.
