3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. ~ Vernacular architecture - Amine BELLALOUNA, urban architect, doctor of design science and technology, professor at Ibn Khaldoun University in Tunis

Vernacular construction and its limitations with regard to existing regulations

How can vernacular architecture be used to cope with the climatic constraints of a given environment?

What are the current obstacles (regulatory, social, etc.) to the development of this constructive approach?
