Student life

Arthur Dupuch is an engineering student Arts et Métiers. Driven by a desire to become an entrepreneur, he joined the junior enterprise on the Lille campus, an experience that complements his engineering training.

After completing a preparatory class for the Grandes Écoles in Mathematics and Physics at the Lycée Sainte Geneviève in Versailles, Arthur Dupuch enrolled at Arts et Métiers its Lille campus. In the first few weeks of his studies, he joined the AMJE. Together with six other students, they revived the entrepreneurial venture that had been on hold for a year. Arthur Dupuch explains, "I am very happy to have contributed to reviving the AMJE. It was an experience that had a greater impact on me than if I had joined an organization that was already up and running."

Arthur Dupuch, Project Manager at AMJE LilleOfficially in charge of business affairs, Arthur Dupuch, like the other members of AMJE, actually manages many areas due to the small size of the team. He has participated in several training courses on topics related to AMJE (legal framework, treasury, standards, etc.) and has been invited to participate in the Junior Enterprises congresses of the Hauts-de-France region"These events allowed us to meet other Junior Études, get their advice, and forge bonds," emphasizes Arthur Dupuch.
The first project carried out by AMJE was for a large transport company: "It involved creating a benchmark. But beyond the project itself, this collaboration enabled us to draft contracts and establish a genuine connection with a company. " Since then, projects have multiplied: application development, website creation, etc. AMJE continues to grow, focusing on industrial projects.

Taking a more project management-focused approach enriches our Arts et Métiers engineering training.

And the next generation is assured, as around 100 first-year students expressed interest in the AMJE at the start of the 2017-2018 academic year. After providing training and conducting interviews, 40 students were selected. The team will now have to organize tests to select the 15 new members.

AMJE Lille in figures

- Revenue target by June 2018: €25k
- 5 projects completed or in progress (since the start of the school year)
- 7 members
- 22 members after recruitment of first-year students
