Arts et Métiers a series of conferences on the theme: Circular Economy and Environmental Transition – A Critical Approach to Materials.

The environmental and energy transition is leading us towards a surge in electric solutions. Networks, batteries, motors, etc. are systems that are becoming increasingly numerous, with new developments, and therefore raise questions about the environmental challenges associated with these transitions. These seminars will focus heavily on materials and resources.

Open to all, these online conferences will cover several topics:

Which materials for which systems: towards a more electric world

Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The benefits of electrification in addressing environmental transition challenges and the consequences for the use of materials in energy production and applications (mobility, industry, construction, etc.) will be the main topics of this first seminar.

Speakers: Stéphane CLENET and Nicolas PERRY
