Organized by LNE and Arts et Métiers, the 5th edition of the Mathmet international conference, aimed at promoting new analytical and computational approaches in measurement science, took place on the Paris campus from November 2 to 4, 2022.
The Mathmet 2022 conference is an event organized by the European Metrology Network, during which applied mathematicians, statisticians, and metrologists present and discuss methods and challenges related to the application of mathematical models and statistical data analysis in measurement science.
During these three days, conferences, poster sessions, nearly fifty presentations, and a round table discussion addressed a wide variety of topics:

· Artificial intelligence, machine learning, Big Data
· Problems with statistical calibration and regression
· Modeling and inverse problems
· Quantification of uncertainty for costly models
· Statistical methods for interlaboratory comparisons and conformity assessment
· Virtual measurements and digital twins

· Data quality
· Special session MATHMET, European network for mathematics and statistics
This conference brought together participants from around the world who networked during theoretical and applied sessions. It also brought together experts from related fields, including uncertainty quantification, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for dynamic measurements, sensor networks, medical and industrial imaging, environmental monitoring, atmospheric science, and climatology.
