80 Arts et Métiers students Arts et Métiers training in the Peer Care program, developed with the Fondation Santé des Étudiants de France (French Student Health Foundation).
Early detection of risky behavior is the goal of the Peer Care prevention program thatArts et Métiers with the Fondation Santé des Étudiants de France (more information).
This peer prevention program, which involves training students, aims to:
- reduce or limit the risks associated with the consumption of dangerous products (particularly alcohol);
- contribute to the early detection of risky behaviors and addictive behaviors, enabling initial contact to be made;
- contribute to helping the person.
The theoretical training took place in December at the Arts et Métiers campuses Arts et Métiers Cluny and Angers, and will continue on January 28 and 29 in Paris and Aix. The program for the two half-days includes identifying risky behavior, reducing alcohol-related risks for student representatives on campus, and supervising student representatives.
Practical training in first aid for festive events will be organized in person as soon as possible.
A total of 80 students will be trained this year. The program will then be gradually rolled out to other Arts et Métiers campuses.
This training program is implemented with the support of SOCE and student associations.
