Electronic and plastic products are at the intersection of environmental issuesenvironmental, regulatory, and societal issues. Plastronics, a combination of the two, brings new opportunities but also issues to anticipate at the end of a product's life. It is necessary to consider environmental impacts from the design stage of plastic and electronic products and, more broadly, throughout their entire life cycle in order to identify possible levers for action.

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Entreprises Agency is offering this webinar with the participation of key players in the field: theChambéry Arts et Métiers Institute, Ecosystem, Plastipolis, and S2P.

Carole Charbuillet and Charles Bouchard, eco-design and recycling research engineers at the Chambéry institute, will address these issues:

  • environmental impacts of plastics manufacturing and electronics
  • access to resources
  • recyclability

and levers for action in product design.
