Presentation and discussion by Jacques-Thierry Monti, EDF regional representative for the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region
On January 25, 2019, the Ministry for Ecological and Solidarity Transition published the multi-year energy program (PPE). Announced in November 2018, this 368-page document is a tool for steering France's energy policy through 2028.
Multi-year energy planning was established by the Energy Transition for Green Growth Act of August 17, 2015.
It sets the priorities for government action in the energy sector, with the aim of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. It contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through measures to reduce consumption of the most carbon-intensive energies (coal, oil, etc.) and replace them with renewable energies (wind, solar, biogas, etc.).
Conference open only to students and staff on campus.
