On March 22, 2019, at the premises of the Maine-et-Loire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a key player in the development of French Fab, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers and French Fab formalized and committed to a partnership to support businesses, particularly SMEs in the Pays de la Loire region, in their transition to the industry of the future!

Through this mutual commitment, French Fab, the standard-bearer for French industry, and the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers are committed to developing the "French Fab Challenge, " an innovative annual program to support businesses, particularly SMEs, in order to boost industry in the regions.

French Fab Challenge: a challenge to support SMEs

The aim of this challenge is to enable companies to propose concrete industrial issues. To respond to these, teams of students, supported by expert teachers and researchers, will have one week to come up with concrete solutions. At the end of the challenge, the teams will present their projects to the partner companies.

 "The French Fab Challenge is a way to provide very concrete support to SMEs in meeting the challenges of the industry of the future. It gives them access to the skills of students and teacher-researchers and provides them with a variety of solutions. It's a win-win challenge," explain Jean Quessada, Director of the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers , and Yann Jaubert, Maine-et-Loire ambassador for French Fab and CEOof Alfi Technologies.

This partnership is a continuation of the efforts of the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Angers and the Institut de Laval, which participated in the launch of the " French Fab Tour" in January 2019 . As a talent accelerator for the industry of the future, Arts et Métiers the French Fab's flagship school, and this regional commitment is the first step in a national partnership between BPI and Arts et Métiers develop and promote the French Fab across France through the institution's eight campuses and three institutes, and to offer concrete solutions to SMEs and make them attractive to young people.
