The MécaDymat working group focuses on the behavior of materials and structures under dynamic stresses: understanding the mechanisms of deformation, damage, and failure; constructing, identifying, validating, and implementing reliable behavior laws; and developing robust experimental and numerical methods adapted to high speeds.
To mark MécaDymat's 20th anniversary, a seminar is being organized by the Institute of Mechanics and Engineering (I2M) and will take place on the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Bordeaux-Talence on March 27 and 28, 2019.
These conferences provide an opportunity to review the year's scientific advances in the fields of experimentation, measurement, modeling, and high-speed digital simulation, as well as to develop and/or strengthen collaborations in the context of national and international projects. Industrial contributions that focus on expressing needs and gaps and on applications are therefore particularly welcome.
