Who are the winners of the 5th edition of the Chal'enge Challenge? Students in Master of Science MTI3DMaster of Science in Master of Science program have created virtual and augmented reality simulators to meet the needs of businesses. 

For the 5th edition of the 5th anniversary of Défi Chal'enge, students in Master of Science MTI3D Master of Science atthe Institut Image Arts et Métiers Chalon-sur-Saône had two weeks to develop virtual reality and augmented reality simulators for companies in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.

To award their prizes, the audience used the Wooclap app.

Four prizes were awarded:

  • The Innovation Award recognizes the project to visualize an animation of a mold created for Moules et Modèles Industriels (MMI), the European leader in the development, design, and manufacture of industrial molds. The winners immerse users in virtual reality within the molds to give them a better understanding of the company's business.
     
  • Force de Conviction Award goes to the Roche driving school project, a bicycle simulator for training and overcoming fear of heights. The driving school responded to the growing demand from users who wanted bicycle training. The winners proposed a solution for learning or refreshing skills without the risk of falling. 
     
  • And two awards, one for economic opportunity and one from the public for the Lointain project, a digital orientation table for the panoramic exhibition at the Espace des Arts in Chalon-sur-Saône. The Espace des Arts offers visitors the chance to discover, with just one click, the history and events calendar of the monuments and neighborhoods that can be seen from the panoramic view on the upper floor.


"Défi Chal'enge "serves as a real career springboard for students and helps companies with their digital transition,", emphasizes Jean-Rémy Chardonnet, director of the Master of Science at the Institut Image.
