The Deputy Directorate General for Research and Innovation (DGARI) came to meet with startups from the Arts et Métiers incubator.

Bringing entrepreneurship and research together

On July 2, 2024, the Paris campus library hosted the second edition of the Boost Incubator event. The aim of this morning of discussions between startups and the DGARI (Deputy Directorate General for Research and Innovation) was to identify possible interactions with scientific teams in the laboratories. By building a bridge between academic research and entrepreneurship, this event enables innovative start-ups to benefit from the scientific expertise available at the 15 Arts et Métiers laboratories, as well as potential European funding.

Discussions and the implementation of concrete actions

Each startup was given dedicated time to present its project, activities, and scientific challenges. Participants then exchanged ideas with DGARI members and entrepreneurship advisors from different campuses. The startups were able to answer questions about their services and products, receive advice, and learn about the scope of the laboratories corresponding to the theme of their activities. Following this meeting, contacts will be made to strengthen synergies between the startups, the laboratories, and the institution's research ecosystem.
