Following the announcement of new government measures to combat coronavirus, teaching methods at Arts et Métiers will change Arts et Métiers December 1. 

Educational continuity plan

Education switches to remote learning

As during the first lockdown, teaching will switch to 100% remote learning, using two complementary working methods:

  • Asynchronous: all documents necessary for continuing instruction are available on SAVOIR. The instructor provides students with work instructions and expectations.
     
  • Synchronous: A videoconference is scheduled at the same time as the face-to-face teaching session initially scheduled in the LISE timetable. Not all teaching sessions will be systematically scheduled in synchronous mode, and students will be notified of the sessions they are required to attend.

Any student unable to attend distance learning classes must notify the program director as soon as possible.

Practical work 

Practical work that cannot be replaced by a remote activity will not be provided before December 1.

Exams 

Arts et Métiers students Arts et Métiers any exams during lockdown. Scheduled exams are postponed until after December 1. 

International students studying abroad at an Arts et Métiers campus 

Foreign exchange students at an Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers from the same facilities as other students and the same distance learning courses. 

Access to campuses

Libraries and computer rooms remain accessible but only by appointment.

Research activities 

Research activities are continuing.

Business continuity plan

Administrative staff, whether working remotely or on site, are mobilized to ensure the smooth running of the school during lockdown.
